UPDATE: The survey is closed. We are preparing the findings and will present key results during FoME 2011 Symposium.
We would like to thank everybody who participated in the survey!
Dear interested visitor, dear FoME-members,
This year we would again like to conduct a small exploratory survey related to the topic of the upcoming FoME 2011 Symposium.
The opportunities of the Internet, social media and mobile technologies are increasingly stressed in the context of development cooperation. While their impact is widely discussed especially among ‘traditional’ media actors, little is known about their role in media development.
So far, little systematic research has been conducted regarding the impact of digital media on German media development cooperation. We would like to ask all FoME members and interested visitors active in the field of media development to help us shed some light on their day-to-day experience – based on a short questionnaire.*
Answering the questions should not consume more than 15 to 20 minutes of your attention – time worth spent: key results will be presented at the FoME 2011 Symposium and we hope to be able to provide a convenient overview of activities, transitions, challenges and perspectives of German media development cooperation facing the new digital era.
Please help us to collect the relevant data.
The survey will be open until September 25th 2011. Thank you very much for your collaboration.
* Please note that the survey will be distributed internationally and is therefor designed in English language.
